What not to do after
lip filler matters more than complicated routines. Avoid heavy pressure on your lips for a month: no tight masks, no aggressive lip rubbing and avoid sleeping face-down. Skip saunas, hot tubs and prolonged hot showers for 48 to 72 hours, because heat increases swelling and may prolong recovery. Limit alcohol for 24 to 48 hours as it increases bruising and blood flow.
Light walking is fine but avoid strenuous exercise that makes you hot for the first two days. Wait 24 hours before applying lipstick or heavy makeup directly on injection points. Avoid kissing or intimate mouth contact for 24 to 48 hours. If shown in clinic, gentle lip filler massage is only done if the clinician advises it.
