FAQ

How long will my skin be red after the treatment?
Most people are noticeably red for the first 24 hours, similar to a strong sunburn.
Over the next 3–5 days, the redness fades steadily. By day three or four, it’s usually subtle enough that only you would notice it.

You don’t need to take time off work, but a weekend buffer is ideal if you want to be extra comfortable.
Is Collagen Induction Therapy painful?
Not at all. We use a medical-grade topical anaesthetic that makes the treatment very comfortable.
You’ll be in a dedicated spa-style treatment room, and many clients actually fall asleep during the procedure.

Despite how relaxing it feels, it is still a potent medical rejuvenation treatment with extremely effective outcomes.
How should I care for my skin afterwards?
Keep the skin clean, avoid makeup for 24 hours, and apply the clinic’s Factor 50 SPF daily for at least one week (long-term daily SPF is always ideal).
We also recommend avoiding direct sunlight and heat — think bright summer days, saunas, steam rooms — for 2–3 weeks to protect results and prevent pigment changes.
When will I see the results?
You’ll feel the skin improve almost immediately, but CIT works by stimulating your skin’s own collagen and elastin, so the real transformation becomes visible around weeks 6–8.
Many clients notice earlier glows, but the deeper, structural improvements continue for months.
How long do the results last?
CIT doesn’t “wear off” like a product — it rebuilds the skin.
Think of it as reversing elements of aging rather than temporarily masking them.

A course of treatments (for example, one session a month for six months) can dramatically rejuvenate the skin, increasing collagen thickness and elasticity.

For long-term maintenance, 4 sessions per year is ideal, though even twice a year still meaningfully slows the aging process.
Level 1 CIT uses fine, painless micro-needling to infuse a medical-grade hydrating cocktail into the skin. This improves moisture levels, boosts collagen production and softly tightens the skin for a refreshed, youthful appearance.
